In Loving Memory:
Billie S. Wilson, age 77, of Balch, Arkansas, was called home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2024, while residing in Meridian, Idaho. Born to the late Agnes Young and Billie Wilson on August 6, 1946, Billie lived a life marked by service, love, and faith.
A proud veteran, Billie served his country with honor in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1969. His sense of duty was a guiding force throughout his life. Following his military service, he embarked on a career as a truck driver, a role he performed with dedication and integrity.
Billie was a man of great warmth and humor. His laughter was infectious and his ability to find joy in the everyday was a gift he freely shared with all who knew him. He was a devoted husband and a cherished friend. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and playing softball, activities that reflected his love for life and nature. A voracious reader, Billie's thirst for knowledge and love for stories enriched his life and those around him.
He leaves behind his adoring wife of many years, Paula Wilson, and is lovingly remembered by his sister, Sharon Langston, and her husband, Mel; his brother, Bill Wilson, and his wife, Curtis. His legacy will live on through his daughters, Lisa Edwards, Michelle Coleman, and Joanna Wilson, as well as his nine grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Billie's life was a testament to the values he held dear; hard work, compassion, and a deep-seated respect for all of God's Creation. He will be deeply missed, but we take comfort in knowing that he rests in peace with his Heavenly Father.
Bille's story does not end with his passing, for his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the love that never fades. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." - Matthew 5:8
